Syneos Health is currently engaged in a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with Lupin Pharmaceuticals for an Area Sales Manager position.


This opportunity is a Direct Hire position with Lupin Pharmaceuticals wherein you will have the opportunity to sell a product to Women's Health providers. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will:

  • Utilize data sources to capitalize on opportunities with the greatest ROI, attaining and/or exceeding assigned sales and profit goals
  • Effectively manage sample inventory levels and track physician profile information
  • Achieve 9 target physician calls and 2 or more pharmacy calls per day
  • Participate in sales meetings, speaker programs, and conventions which may occur outside of typical business hours
  • Achieve 80% reach and 90% calls to targets each quarter

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • BA/BS degree from a 4 year accredited university is required
  • 1-3 years of highly successful pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred OR 2-5 years of demonstrated selling success considered
  • Documentation of sales rankings, sales awards and commendations
  • Field based responsibilities with a focus on Women’s Health products
  • Strong ability to conduct a clinical sales communicating scientific concepts
  • Experience selling specialty products with a small pharmaceutical company preferred
  • New product launch experience preferred
  • “Start-up” experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% or more and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
