Responsibilities

 

You’ll join The Risk And Program Management Group within Syneos Health Consulting. You will assist pharma consortiums in facilitating the myriad legal, financial, and operational challenges of initiating and implementing complex single, shared REMS programs.

The PMO Finance Specialist is responsible for PMO project accounting activities including providing support for the PMO Project team and PMO projects including processing 3rd party invoices, billing, reconciliations, analysis and other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES PRODUCTIVITY and DELIVERY

  • Generate sponsor billing invoices Maintain accurate, complete, and timely periodic sponsor facing financial reports
  • Set up and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) for PMO 3rd party vendors in Great Plains (GP)
  • Process PMO 3rd party invoices Maintain complete and organized files
  • Assist with sponsor invoicing and AR collections for PMO projects.
  • Execute other PMO Finance deliverables as assigned Responsive to informational needs and requests from all relevant stakeholders
  • Committed to high standards of quality and client service
  • Takes ownership of assignments and is receptive to ad hoc business requests
  • Strategic Insight/Critical Thinking - Make recommendations to add new reports or enhance current reports to satisfy changing information needs
  • Identify ways to improve filing and record retention processes
  • Understand issues being discussed, be articulate, and listen well when dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively identify issues/concerns and propose relevant solutions

 

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Project accounting experience in professional services preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of related finance experience
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with Access
  • Experience with corporate accounting systems
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact and work with all levels of the organization in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
