Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Selling Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. 

As a pharmaceutical Sales Representative reporting to the Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to regularly call on health care professionals (primary care physicians) within a specific geographic area.  Day-to-day responsibilities consist of supporting the promotional efforts behind products, which includes organizing, tracking and distributing FDA regulated sample products to health care professionals. You will maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on the product line to be a reliable source of information to the health care professionals in the territory. Abide by all industry and corporate policies and procedures.   

The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. More specifically:

  • Maximize new business opportunities with physicians and other health service providers
  • Present therapeutic products and creatively teach people about their usage
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient
  • Build trust and credibility and become a true collaborator in commercial success

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of Pharmaceutical or Business to Business  Sales Experience with track record of documented success
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectives
  • Applies a range of problem-solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively to improve performance and effectiveness
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified.
