Responsibilities

We are looking for the best.  Our Account Supervisors perform a key function that provides support and leadership to keep our account teams on track and delivering results…on time and on budget.  Our Account Supervisors work on both strategic planning and execution.  They build relationships with our clients, manage junior staff, and marshal our internal and external resources.  With good A/S’s, things run smoothly, our clients are happy, and we look good.

 

This is an intermediate-to-senior position with the potential for building strong management and strategic skills.  You’ll work with industry-leading pharmaceutical marketers.  The right person will understand the value of building a strong foundation of capabilities that will serve them well in the future.  They will bring passion, energy, a can-do attitude, and a hunger to learn and grow.  And they will understand that what they give will be directly linked to what they get.

We do work that matters.  Ultimately, our work will enable both healthcare professionals and patients to understand the brands and therapeutic areas we work on, to allow for improvements in quality of life and better patient outcomes.

  • Lead the core account team in the planning, identification, development and execution of client programs, and communications.
  • Help in identifying new tactical opportunities for the brand.
  • Provide project leadership and guidance to junior staff.
  • Continually evaluate client and agency business activity, recommending appropriate changes to meet volume/profit objectives.
  • Marshall internal and external resources.
  • Builds relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Works with high professional standards, ethics and values…every day on every project.

Job Requirements

The following criteria are essential for this role:

  • Three-to-five years of pharmaceutical experience with a marketing/advertising agency or client-side marketing department.  Ideally, at least one of those years would be at an Account Supervisor level.
  • Thorough understanding of the pharma regulatory environment (i.e. PAAB and ASC).
  • Well versed in digital/social media.
  • Budget management.
  • Consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

These criteria would be assets for the role:

  • Experience in strategic planning and managing a team.
  • Post-secondary degree or certificate program, preferably in science or business.
