We are looking for a digital media analyst with experience in performance marketing who believes there’s a lot to be improved in the way analytics is being done today.

The Applied Data Science group at Syneos Health is a dynamic, creative team that uses ML technologies to make sense of healthcare data. Syneos Health is an accelerator that helps biopharma companies around the world to research and commercialize new therapies. Our group works with clinical and commercial teams on a broad range of problems.


Typical Projects 

  • Evaluate expected contribution of individual channels to the overall campaign performance

  • Design a testing campaign that evaluates multiple channels in multiple markets

  • Develop a reporting dashboard with derived, second-order indicators of performance


As a manager of digital analytics, you will evaluate omnichannel marketing campaigns against business objectives and ROI benchmarks, identify sources of future growth, and provide informed counsel to our clients:

  • Develop comprehensive measurement strategies, track performance, 

  • Design and set up the complete measurement process, from tagging to dashboards

  • Design, conduct, and analyze multifactorial experiments to test channels and executions

  • Analyze campaigns across a variety of platforms: display, search, social, email, and personal promotion

  • Conduct targeting, segmentation, message testing, and marketing mix analysis

  • Identify and recommend optimization strategies; model and forecast performance of future investments

  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Job Requirements

  • Track record of delivering complex analytics projects for omnichannel performance marketing efforts at a media agency, adtech company, or client-side

  • Excellent understanding how different types of channels are wired, what is worth measuring, and how different kinds of indicators are related

  • Experience building comprehensive dashboards for monitoring and reporting

  • Knowledge of the relevant technologies for ad serving, measurement, and analysis

  • Strong data analysis and data modelling skills, good knowledge of statistics

  • HTML, R / Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau / PowerBI / Datorama / Google Data Studio

  • Clear, precise communication of complex concepts to lay audiences

  • Strong motivation for self-guided learning

  • An entrepreneurial self-starter

  • A wide network of supplier contacts


    Extra Credit amd Tools that You Have Experience With:

  • Experience with life science or biopharma clients or healthcare projects

  • Familiarity with healthcare media channels and individual properties

  • Experience with automating parts of the analytics workflow

  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithm
