The EVP, Client Services is responsible for all aspects of accounts from client-agency relationship to profitability, as well as management responsibilities as assigned by his/her manager. Additional responsibilities include agency executive management initiatives and the generation of new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage profitability and conduct fee negotiations

  • Directs, supports, develops, and mentors key reports

  • Oversee strategic development of agency and account business 

  • Obtains new business from existing and prospective clients

  • Identifies and manage integrated inVentiv services for the client

  • Fulfills all management duties as a senior member of the GSW NY Senior Leadership Team

  • Ensures adherence to Speak People process with both rigor and flexibility

  • Works in conjunction with other functional leads to launch new programs and processes, manage overall agency staffing & cross-team dynamics, and nurture and appropriately enforce the GSW culture, including our Speak People brand

  • Consistently manage client expectations, solicit and act on client feedback

 

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant client experience in marketing, advertising or other related - disciplines with a minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising experience

  • 5 years in a senior management position; experience managing and developing direct reports; proven track record and completed significant work as a VP or equivalent

  • Demonstrates strong character, particularly integrity and honesty

  • Strong communication skills, leadership and interest in developing & mentoring people with growth potential to lead organization

  • Actively leads by example through mentoring, honest and timely feedback and addressing challenges head-on

  • Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and industry trends accurately; has broad industry knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans

  • Passionate about business and always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business

  • Able to effectively engage and influence a wide variety of audiences
