Seeking a public relations professional for a growing Risk and Reputation Mgmt.  practice at a leading healthcare communications company.  A great opportunity for candidates who have a passion for helping Fortune 500 companies protect and enhance their reputation in the face of business and environmental challenges. We are looking to complement our team of seasoned consultants with an individual who has a voracious curiosity to learn, an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to develop new business and counsel senior executives.  Selected candidates will have access to learn and be mentored by senior thought leaders with expertise in risk and reputation  management, healthcare, healthcare policy,  media relations and brand advancement strategies.


-          Lead and execute issues management strategies and programs for top clients

-          Coordinate with client account teams across North America to provide issues management strategic counsel and execute support solutions and programs

-          Contribute to the development of new business proposal and thought leadership activities

Job Requirements

-          Minimum 7 years of experience; preferably 3-4 years dedicated to serving clients’ issues management needs (consultancy and /or agency preferred)

-          Proven experience developing effective strategies that have helped mitigate client issues.

-          Strong experience triaging issues and crises for clients in healthcare (or companies with issues related to health)

-          Excellent writing skills with comfort developing holding statements and messaging for a variety of audiences

-          Confidence advising clients in the midst of a breaking issue

-          Demonstrated history of contributing to successful business development

-          Comfort working in teams large and small

-          Experience with corporate reputation and executive visibility a plus


-          Confident problem-solver with ability to learn quickly

-          Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and good decision-making

-          Understanding of when additional data, analogues and research may be needed

-          Self-directed with an entrepreneurial spirit

-          Exhibits calm equilibrium and quick thinking in the midst of an issue

-          Versatile, with flexibility to quickly change tasks on a moment’s notice

-          Ability to quickly re-prioritize work based on urgent and changing client demands
