Medical Science Liaison – Ophthalmology
Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland)
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the launch of the first targeted therapy for Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), where you will play a key role in our European medical team! Your role will be to identify and develop long-term partnerships with selected Key Opinion Leaders and other scientific experts to provide insights and initiate clinical trials. As the primary liaison for medical professionals, you will establish stable and positive networks to lead discussions related to this therapeutic area, as well as lead the initiation and running of registry trials. On occasions, you will also be present in the theatre to support physicians with your expert advice.
As a scientific expert, your experience as an MSL will be seen as a medical adviser with great impact and gravitas. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will make it easy for you to engage high-end clinical professionals. Also, thanks to your ability to learn fast, the demanding area of Ophthalmology will be no burden to your success in this role.
You will be a self-starter and confident in the value you can bring to your partners, and you will work effectively and collaboratively with a European team, as well as on a national level with your colleagues in sales.
