Description

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you provide critical day-to-day studio support for creative teams in the production of print and digital/interactive materials. You will ensure creative direction and execution of visual projects across various platforms, including print, digital, and branding. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce compelling designs that effectively communicate brand messaging and engage audiences. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a keen eye for detail are essential as you translate ideas into impactful visual solutions that align with business goals and resonate with target markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects will be involved from beginning to end
• Are considered a subject matter expert 
• May oversee the work of a junior or mid-level co-worker
• Nurture relationships with internal teams across the globe through communication, interaction, and great work 
• Collaborate with partner agency s creative and operations team members for implementation and direction
• Build production-ready files for print and digital tactics, making edits to existing layouts with some opportunities for initial design
• Prepare electronic mechanical print files according to vendor specifications and adhering to the brand style guides set by the clients
• Work closely with partner agency s account, creative, and operations departments as part of an integrated team
• Adhere to partner agency s vision for quality and uphold the creative process while maintaining client style guidelines
• Work with project managers on schedule and hours requirements
• Maintain server structure and organization and oversee creative department personnel for file creation efficiencies and server organization
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as onboarding of file organization and studio process for new employees
• Control tactical workflow within the brand, is the go-to person for partner agency s creatives and is the keeper of brand assets and logos
• Traditional graphic art and BoldSky support, such as building mockups and presentation materials

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to understand and interpret design-related materials
• Bachelor s degree in graphic design or related field; creative studio and/or agency experience 
• 5-10 years of work experience in graphic design
• Self-motivated and able to deliver a quality product on time and on budget (allocated hours)
• Champion for BoldSky and strive to improve processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; are capable of handling multiple tasks and projects

  • Excellent organizational skills and an acute attention to detail 
  • Ability to be a team player and handle multiple tasks and projects while working efficiently within deadlines and budget
  • Good communication skills to address needs with project managers and creative leadership and to provide direction to junior staff

• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and Acrobat) as well as comprehensive knowledge of Apple computers
• Have good design skills and understand page layout: composition, hierarchy, color space, imagery, and typography
• Can switch gears, juggle, and move from project to project seamlessly
• Have acute attention to detail 

Should also be:

• Able to understand and implement direction: Can understand creative direction based on objectives and execute creative work effectively. Understands the concept of talent-to-task and communicates well with others on workload issues & needs, progress of work and results
• Apply knowledge to industry; pick up on technical things quickly; good at learning new industry, company, product, and/or technical developments of the client, as well as the agency business; possess the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned work by continually coming up with new ideas and solutions proactively. Ability and willingness to show ownership of brand work from a visual standpoint
• Flexible with respect to work schedule to meet frequent, last-minute deadlines
• Management experience a plus
• Experience with Sketch and/or Figma a plus 
• Experience with PowerPoint, animation, digital, and/or video applications a plus
• Experience with email and task management applications, including electronic routing a plus
• Experience working in a digital asset management (DAM) systems a plus
