Job Summary:

The Business Optimization Administrator has primary responsibility for coordinating and assisting with departmental activities and project-specific activities assigned by the Business Optimization Manager/Director (BOM/BOD) in support of business opportunity estimation processes.  The BOA can be assigned to one or more projects. 

 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Support Ops Services estimation projects with timely completion of administrative tasks for the various business lines to include Field Sales, Clinical Educators, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Engagement Center, as directed
  • Entering and updating data in various tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce.com)
  • Following up with data needed from Business Development for the completion of Salesforce.com tasks
  • Assist BOM/BOD with documenting meetings held with Business Development and/or Business Leads/SMEs on project requirements, scope and success metrics.
  • Other duties as applicable to your assigned projects or departmental needs.  These duties will be outlined in an annual goals and objectives process and evaluated in an annual performance management process.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • 5+ years of relevant knowledge in a client delivery/service company in lieu of college degree.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
  • Strong oral/written communication skills. 
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong aptitude towards usage of automated systems.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic.

Preferred:   

  • Associate’s or BA/BS degree
  • Basic understanding of Life Sciences Commercial operations to include Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Educators, and Engagement Center programs
  • Basic understanding of Sales Force Automation, CRM (e.g., Salesforce.com), Reporting/Analytics, Targeting/Alignments, Incentive Compensation and Data Management
