Role overview 

Syneos Health Communications is seeking a passionate and talented Mid-Weight Conceptual Designer to join our creative agency. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as we rebuild our design studio, aiming to create an industry-leading design practice. Our team supports our advertising, PR, and medical communications business units while also exploring new design and branding opportunities in the evolving healthcare space. 

As part of our diverse, multidisciplinary creative team, you’ll create and deliver innovative design and branding solutions for a wide range of global clients. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about brand, design and storytelling, and is capable of balancing reactive work with proactive vision projects.

Essentials: 

• Strong experience working in top level branding and design studios 
• A flare for logo design, bespoke typography, and iconography. 
• A keen interest in developing as an information designer. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for craft, particularly in typography. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in explaining your creative work or that of the team. 
• Comfortable working independently and owning multiple projects. 
• A desire to experiment with and integrate AI into our workflow. 
• Proactive problem-solver who is comfortable interrogating briefs and asking difficult questions. 
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow as part of a team. 
• Receptive to feedback and eager to refine your work. 
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud programs, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Pushing the studio forward with regard to design trends and techniques. 
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, establishing effective workflows for each. 
• Organizing complex information into clear, cohesive design solutions. 
• Contributing to design and creative explorations as an integral team member. 
• Working with the artworking team to deliver final publication ready files. 

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, or 3D software (e.g., Rhino, Cinema 4D). 
• Experience using AI tools
