Description

Syneos Health looking for an experienced BI Developer who can use data analytics to create business intelligence that stakeholders can leverage to improve processes, increase productivity and efficiency, and add business value. The role will spend time developing, deploying and maintaining BI tools, as well as translating highly technical language into intelligible insights by producing reports everyone in the organization can comprehend.

Responsibilities

As a team member responsible for helping to bridge the gap between business and technology, the Analytics Engineer role requires equal amounts business acumen and technical acumen.

• Develop interactive, visually compelling data products using Power BI for advanced data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into actionable BI solutions.
• Design and maintain scalable, high-performance dashboards and reports, following data visualization best practices for an intuitive user experience.
• Build prototypes, create demos and videos, and present them to stakeholders.
• Work with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integration and accuracy.
• Create low-fidelity mockups to validate visualization designs with stakeholders prior to development.

Requirements and Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in BI development with a focus on front-end technologies.
• 3+ years in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or Digital Media industries.
• Proven expertise as a BI Developer with skills in Power BI for dashboard and report development.
• Deep knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience in creating custom, interactive dashboards and reports using and Power BI.
• Experience in building prototypes, creating demos, and producing engaging presentation materials (videos, demos) to showcase solutions.
• Background in data analysis, with a proven ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
