Syneos Health Consulting is a boutique consultancy within a large clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical services organization. Syneos Health Consulting provides services through the following verticals:

• Commercial: Investment strategies, launch planning, sales and commercialization strategy
• Market Access: Reimbursement, pricing, contracting, payer value props, evidence generation
• Medical Affairs: Medical affairs strategy, MSL effectiveness and readiness, etc
• Risk and Program Management: REMS assessments, strategies, and management 
• Research and Development: Clinical trial design strategy, effectiveness, and improvement
• Quality Control and Compliance: Manufacturing and supply chain management 

Syneos Health Consulting has a cross-functional data and technology horizontal that supports all 6 verticals with client-facing and revenue driving analytics and AI services and offerings. The horizontal is expanding by adding more client-facing data & technology consultants to work alongside an established team of data scientists. 

The horizontal is looking for data consultants who can work directly with clients and vertical leaders to translate client needs into analytic solutions. These consultants will: 

• Interpret client business needs and translate those into analytic approaches and frameworks and execute analytics alongside data scientists
• Work directly on billable consulting projects, helping to translate the analysis from the data scientist into business insights
• Lead data analytics BD requests, pulling in the right information for sample analytics for pitch meetings and providing the "so what" that is tailored to client business need
• Maintain an expertise in real world data analytics and understanding of billing codes and EHR taxonomies
• Understand competitive landscape of data analytics offerings from competitors like ZS, Trinity, Eversana, and drive accelerators and deliverables to be market ready

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years experience in a data analyst/data consulting role at a life sciences consultancy or an equivalent degree
• MBA or relevant quantitative masters degree preferred; understanding of analytical
• Experience in real world data analytics or clinical data sources preferred
• Ability to develop client deliverables autonomously
