You have the potential to excel in this dynamic Vice President level role with Biosector 2 (B2).
 
We are seeking a day-to-day leader and client relationship-holder who has broad experience working in the pharmaceutical space. In partnership with senior leaders and supporting team members, the candidate will oversee a range of projects, serve as a client point-person, coach junior staffers, contribute to strategic planning, manage financials and staffing, and ensure high quality of client deliverables.
 
Working across oncology and vaccines, you would have the opportunity to establish deep relationships with clients. The work includes a mix of branded product communications, celebrity and influencer engagement, events, corporate communication, thought leadership and social/digital media.

Responsibilities:
  • Support senior leads in development and execution of consumer, corporate/thought leadership and branded product communications plans 
  • Act as day-to-day client lead for core clients
  • Oversee teams on execution, ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials and strategic counsel
  • Robust, cross-functional project management and collaboration with shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties
  • Manage and coach team members to support their professional growth
  • Supervise and manage financial and business operations (e.g., budget, billing, forecasting)
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries 
  • Experience and interest in healthcare communications (required); experience in oncology and vaccines (preferred), experience with post-launch branded product communications (preferred), experience with celebrity and influencers (preferred), experience with event planning (preferred)
  • Proven experience in managing a large account team, client relations, plan development and budget management 
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties 
  • Drive to be a self-starter/self-motivator
 
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $190,000.
 The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
