Joining one of the world’s leading healthcare communication agencies the Digital Data Analyst should have relevant experience within a marketing environment, and a deep curiosity for how people behave online.
You’ll be joining a growing team who are shaping how healthcare companies track, manage and optimize their marketing communications. As part of the central digital team, you’ll be working alongside ultra-talented people, each of whom excels at the challenge of delivering exceptional results in every activity. The four core areas that this role will focus on are: 1) ability to implement and audit web analytics tracking, 2) numerical data manipulation and analysis, 3) familiarity with digital marketing channels / activities, and 4) the ability to present findings verbally and in written form.
Main activities
In conjunction with the wider digital team:
- Definition of measurement strategies and benchmarks for clients across multichannel campaigns and websites
- Implementation of new and testing of existing website, app and campaign analytics to ensure consistent, accurate capture of data
- Creating automated, interactive Looker Studio dashboards covering multiple marketing channels and website analytics data
- Creation of monthly and deep-dive reports, mining available data sources and behavioral data to spot barriers / identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance
- Managing on-going campaign reporting using campaign dashboards to identify changes in global and country level marketing activity
- Working with account teams and media / marketing partners to support global and country teams to optimize campaign performance
- Contribute to building the digital team’s evolving set of insights and optimization services and products
- Deliver accurate, insightful and actionable analysis to clients
Responsibilities
- Create tracking specifications for marketing campaigns and landing pages/ microsites
- Setup of marketing dashboards and reports to assist analysis
- Standardizing and managing tracking URL creation
- Analyse how campaigns are performing and how to improve them
- Own and manage analytics projects from end to end
- Delivering monthly / quarterly reporting for teams and campaigns across the business
- Supporting the wider digital team with analytics and insights projects
- Production of ad hoc analysis on website behaviour, KPI trends and engagement
- Conduct tagging and testing of websites and mobile apps
- Working with developers/ technical implementation specialist to implement the analytics and datalayers
- Working with the media partners to collect the data and report on it.
- Marrying the data from media partners to website data to provide meaningful campaign performance reports
- Interacting with different business units to understand and identify analytics opportunity within the accounts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong numerical and analytics abilities
- High level of competency with two or more of the following analytics tools: Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst/Omniture), Piwik, Plausible, MixPannel, Clevertap, Adjust , Firebase
- High level of competency in tracking data using Google Tag Manager and manipulating data within Google BigQuery and Google Looker Studio
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Qliksense
- Knowledge of the following marketing tools and skills would be beneficial: Google AdWords, DoubleClick, social analytics tool (e.g. Facebook Insights / Sysomos, Cvent, StorySoft, LinkedIn, DV360), Optimizely, basic web development
- Experience applying data science tools and techniques is desirable: familiarity with SQL, Python, or R, JavaScript
- A strong understanding of digital marketing and website analytics
- An interest GenAI and how it can be used to accelerate data analysis / report writing
- Solution focused – suggesting ideas and recommendations to improve what we do, wherever relevant
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Capability to deliver ad hoc requests by adhering to tight deadlines
- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise the most critical tasks
Background and professional experience
- An undergraduate degree is essential
- Experience working in a digital marketing team / agency environment
- Some previous experience within congresses and branded and unbranded healthcare capmaigns would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience planning and managing workload to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, clients, media partners and agencies.
