National Field Reimbursement Manager 

The National Field Reimbursement Manager is responsible for the successful launch of Patient Access & Reimbursement initiatives of our client. The primary focus of the National Field Reimbursement Manager is to ensure that the activities of the Field Reimbursement Specialist (FRS) contribute to the achievement of the objectives. They serves as the tactical manager of the FRS team through daily coaching, training and mentoring while setting performance expectation for day-to-day activity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Hire, motivate and coach field reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior.
  • Lead field reimbursement team to ensure goals are met to support product access within targeted accounts.
  • Work with Field Reimbursement Specialists on a consistent basis, evaluating coaching and directing local business plans/presentations.
  • Attract, coach and retain individuals who will ensure high level performance
  • Develop plans that effectively translate regional/national strategy.
  • Work with Leadership to define and establish appropriate behaviors and actions that will lead to high levels of client satisfaction.

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum five years of experience as a Manager/first line leader or demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate, coach, lead and execute strategy
  • Minimum two years of experience in public or private third party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support with Buy and Bill products.
  • Working knowledge of Field Based Reimbursement, Managed Markets, or access/patient services
  • Experience with specialty products (preferably specialty injectable) acquired through Specialty Pharmacy
  • Specific knowledge of specialty product buy and bill (coding, coverage, & payment) and in-office best practices related to reimbursement processes
