Description

The Editorial Assistant is the glue that holds us all together. If you’re detailoriented, an active listener, and a proactive communicator, this role is an exciting opportunity for exposure to critical aspects of agency process and operations. This critical team member will support project management and traffic coordination of the daytoday workload across a range of deliverables. The role is perfect for someone eager to learn about the inner workings of world-class healthcare communications agency supporting the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Coordinates traffic and project management for editorial and business development jobs
  • Supports the development of tools, technology, and resources to house and automate access to critical business development assets (credentials, capabilities, case studies, relationships, individual agency and global partner information)
  • Deconstructs final presentations for best practices or reusable examples and identifies key words/metadata for future reference
  • Supports Cadent teams by coordinating meetings, taking notes, and creating pitch briefs
  • Coordinates and tracks invoices, licenses, and payments for KOL honoraria, copyright permissions, etc
  • Gains and maintains a working knowledge of the industry, brands, and categories
  • Establishes solid working relationships with all internal teams
  • Accurately tracks time spent on each job and enters in time-tracking system on a daily basis
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or related field, OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of agency traffic or project management, project specialist, executive assistant/administrative assistant experience
Preferred: 
  • 1-3 years of agency traffic or project management, project specialist, executive assistant/administrative assistant experience
  • Experience with Wrike or another electronic project management system
Skills 
Required:             
  • Proficient in English
  • Quick and accurate typing skills
  • High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (ie, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal team members and external stakeholders
