Presentation Designer

Responsibilities

Junior Level Designer: Owns smaller, simpler pieces of a project. Involved with getting a project from conception to completion. They participate in producing preliminary versions of projects, engaging in coming up with solutions and processes feedback to improve skill set.

Our design team is responsible for nurturing relationships with internal teams across the globe through communication, interaction, and great work. Our Designers help create beautifully crafted, useful, informative, compelling, and intuitive visual experiences – across a wide range of projects and channels. If you have a passion for design; you are proactive and looking to grow, this will be a great experience for you. 

  • Produce high-end PowerPoint presentations
  • Participate in various projects and activities in support of the marketing team, while gaining exposure to a wide variety of company functions
  • Provide graphic support by offering graphic and slide layout recommendations
  • Able to tell a visual story
  • Able to employ excellent aesthetics, push the boundaries of PowerPoint
  • Generate well-designed templates
  • Ensure slides are presented in an organized and cohesive manner
  • Proof slides to ensure accuracy, as well as brand integrity

The ability to switch gears, juggle and move from project to project is critical. Assurance that files are correctly built so when picked up by another designer, there are no issues.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in Marketing, or prior experience in graphic design or production
  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably within corporate environment
  • Expertise in Adobe graphics software (i.e., CS 4, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Expertise in InDesign
  • Superior skill using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while under pressure
  • Flexible with respect to work schedule to meet frequent, last-minute deadlines

Should also be:

  • Conceptually Creative: Ability to think in abstract terms; make connections between unrelated notions; formulate innovative ideas where others cannot; seen as original and value-added in brainstorming sessions
  • Able to Understand and Implement Direction: Can understand creative direction based on objectives and execute creative work effectively. Understands the concept of talent-to-task and communicates well with others on workload issues & needs, progress of work and results
  • Industry Application: Picks up on technical things quickly; is good at learning new industry, company, product, and/or technical knowledge developments of the client's business as well as the agency business; has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
  • Demonstrating Ownership and Proactivity: Demonstrates ownership of assigned Brand work by continually coming up with new ideas proactively. Ability and willingness to show ownership of Brand work from a visual standpoint
  • Willingness to be Flexible: Willing to work outside of job description as needed, be flexible for the team, and ultimately the work.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is XX but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
