Cadent, a leader in Medical Communications, seeks a Director, Channel and Engagement Strategy to spearhead our evolving efforts in delivering innovative customer experiences in both commercial and medical affairs. This pivotal role demands a harmonious blend of digital marketing acumen and a keen awareness of compliance requirements, aiming to provide the best in medical communications solutions to client challenges. The position calls for a seasoned professional skilled in crafting insight-led strategies and executing successful, measurable campaigns. The ideal candidate will be analytical, ambitious, and proficient in managing diverse accounts and project types, with an emphasis on accountability in the realm of medical communications. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of channel and engagement strategies across multiple projects, ensuring effective collaboration with account, scientific, and creative teams.
  • Champion innovative solutions in channel planning and HCP engagement.
  • Work within business development teams to shape, present and scope recommendations.
  • Provide education on Cadent’s digital services and technology products within Syneos Health and to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the Syneos Health network to leverage subject matter experts to shape strategic recommendations and for execution. These include media planning, creative and development teams, SEM etc
  • Manage insights and analytics related to HCP engagement, including deployment of surveys and sourcing syndicated research.
  • Collaborate with Cadent project managers to plan tactics, including web-development, media planning, CRM, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Collaborate with Cadent analytics leads to implement measurement strategy.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new opportunities and presenting strategic proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications, client processes, and regulations.

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with additional qualifications in digital marketing preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital, social, or analytical project delivery, preferably in medical communications.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team and project management.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry's restricted environment and client expectations.
  • Technical proficiency in digital project management, familiar with web-development technologies and HCP engagement platforms.
  • Desire to explore and implement the use of GenAI to support insights, idea generation and execution.
  • Effective communicator, able to manage relationships with multiple clients and internal teams.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $121,901 to $175,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
