Description

You are organized, driven, a true team-player and thrive on creativity. If so, you have the potential to excel in the Syneos Health Corporate Affairs Summer Internship Program.

The Corporate Affairs team vision is to transform the hearts and minds of our clients’ communities and stakeholders through creative, awe-inspiring, first-in-class initiatives that drive true emotion and behavior change.

At Syneos Health, you will work with innovative thinkers who understand the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges. Explorers at heart, we take a human approach to understanding and collaboratively solving our clients’ communications needs.

We fully commit ourselves to establishing and nurturing meaningful relationships with each other, our client partners, and their communities, focusing on the big little things – the impactful yet often overlooked details – that leave a lasting impression. Those subtle and purposeful details are at the heart of how we show up in all our interactions. When partnering with us, our clients get big-agency resources with the high-touch benefits of a cohesive team that leads boldly together.

This Opportunity

An internship with Syneos Health gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. Our collaborative culture inspires you to learn from the expertise surrounding you and to share your own knowledge and experience with colleagues. You’ll be asked to speak up and challenge the status quo – you have a voice and will be encouraged to use it.

Additionally, over the summer, there will be opportunities to participate in events just for our interns: social events with other interns, career development workshops, community service projects and networking with senior leaders – just to name a few!

Responsibilities

  • Draft social copy and press materials
  • Desk research
  • Account management including agendas, call notes and action plans
  • Conduct media monitoring, keeping a pulse on the healthcare landscape
  • Participate in brainstorms
  • Participate in team and client meetings

Requirements

  • Students must be entering their senior year Fall 2024
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field of study
  • Past internship experience or project work in Communications or Advertising is recommended
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Above average attention to detail
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a workload consisting of several concurrent projects or tasks

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $23 to $26. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. At Syneos Health Communications, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace. If your past experience doesn’t align perfectly, we encourage you to apply anyway. Because of our “no walls, no limits” philosophy and entrepreneurial spirit, our employees have the opportunity and potential to work on projects beyond their years of experience.
