Description

We are seeking a day-to-day leader and client relationship-holder who has broad experience working in the pharmaceutical space. In partnership with senior leaders and supporting team members, the candidate will oversee a range of projects, serve as a client point-person, coach junior staffers, contribute to strategic planning, ensure high quality of client deliverables and manage budgets.   
    
The opportunity is with two newer biotech accounts – creating opportunity to establish relationship with new clients, focused on oncology/hematology and infectious disease. The work includes a mix of U.S. and global data/pipeline communications, social/digital/media and thought leadership.   
   

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support senior leads in development and execution of corporate/thought leadership, above brand and pipeline milestone communications plans 
  • Serve as day-to-day client lead
  • Oversee teams on execution, ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials and strategic counsel
  • Collaborate with shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties
  • Supervise and manage financial and business operations (e.g., budget, billing, forecasting)
  • Support and coach team members to support their professional growth
   
   
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if “preferred” or “required”)   
   
   
  • Experience in oncology is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience and interest in healthcare communications (required); experience with high-science 
  • Proven experience in client relations, plan development and budget management 

Essential Requirements:    

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $114,000 - $190,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
