Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to support the account team on the day-to-day running of the client account. This will include timing plans, estimates, budget control and assisting the trafficking of work through the creative services department, which will enable us to provide you with a solid grounding in servicing our clients’ needs. We are looking for individuals to join our award-winning advertising team, which brings together innovation and leading creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Begin to build a thorough knowledge of administrative and tactical processes, e.g. timing plans, trafficking jobs within the studio, etc.
  • Begin to build an understanding of client / agency relationships and service
  • Learn the client’s internal regulatory review process
  • Begin to build understanding of the execution of clients’ promotional plans
  • Begin to build a reputation for effective and reliable delivery of high-quality projects
  • Build a thorough knowledge of expectations, processes and timelines involved in effective, high-quality project management
  • Keep track of deadlines
  • Deliver consistent quality, with proactive, effective and efficient results that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Begin to build a thorough knowledge of the agency’s business operations, shared services and other divisions
  • Begin to understand budgeting and invoicing processes
  • Begin to build a knowledge of advertising and customer insights
  • Begin to develop an understanding of the overall healthcare industry
  • Understanding how/when to identify and flag issues
  • Begin to develop an understanding of core advertising skills
  • Provide team support as required, working with a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and a willingness to learn internal disciplines

Essential Requirements

  • Degree educated
  • A sound understanding of the role of advertising within the marketing mix
  • An understanding of the brands you are allocated to and the market environment
  • Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice and the ability to ensure adherence to it
  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • The ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to develop and effectively communicate project timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and good proofreading skills
  • Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
  • Ideally has relevant work experience in the healthcare industry
  • The ability to quickly pick up digital knowledge
