Senior Front End Developer

As a member of the studio team, the Front-End Developer will focus on all areas of front-end development technologies.  As such, this role will require a solid working knowledge and ability to execute on modern web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation and Boilerplate. In addition to that, having expertise in leveraging build scripts, and working in Git repositories are an absolute must. A broad experience in different technologies and a natural inclination toward ongoing learning is necessary. • Work as an integral part of a cross-functional engineering team that is part of a broader creative studio
• Create mobile first, responsive, scalable, flexible, accessible, and interactive digital experiences
• Maintain and support existing websites 
• Participate in code reviews and other techniques to improve code quality
• Investigate and resolve support issues
• Assist with QA/QC when necessary
• Ensure automated builds and continuous integration are always working
• Contribute to the continual improvement of the product and development processes
• Participate in software development process following Agile/Scrum methodology

Essential Requirements 

• LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS – Read/Write in ENGLISH (ability to communicate via email/phone/IM/Marked up direction)
• 5+ Years of HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery experience
• Experience with LESS / SASS
• Experience with one or more of the following JavaScript frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue.js
• Familiar with npm, Gulp, Webpack
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Experience with Foundation, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS frameworks
• Experience consuming / interacting with REST APIs
• Experience working with WordPress
• Experience in modern UI/UX design styles and technologies
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (requirements, design, development, QA, deployment, and maintenance)
• Passionate about good design and user experience
• Write and maintain best-in-class iterative and reusable front-end code across numerous platforms
• Experience working with industry standard tool (figma, Sketch, XD, Zepplin  etc) in order to obtain specs/assets necessary to match the creative layouts provided.
• Sharp eye for detail and strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices
• Experience using version control systems (Git)
• Experience with continuous delivery and automated testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment with frequent release cycles
• Competent in SEO best practices and optimizing for performance
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Ability to plan well and execute with high quality level
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, interactive information technologies, or equivalent related experience
