The Operations Effectiveness, Process Specialist role is a support role, that serves as the connector across Deployment Solutions (DS) as well as the broader Syneos organization. You will also:

  • Ensure DS business processes are understood and followed through using change management processes, and proactively collaborate with DS leadership to govern for compliance
  • Partner across business and IT functions to problem solve quality issues, process and system breakdowns or other internal and external concerns, including implementation and adoption of change initiatives
  • Become a trusted business partner on Syneos ways of working to create a flow of best practices, collaboration, and business insights to help drive business acumen across departments
  • Review large inter-dependent business processes across functions to find improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for change based on data, value impact and connection to corporate goals
  • Support multiple change initiatives to improve ways of working holistically: tools, process, training, governance, and optimization in partnership with department heads, DS leadership and center resources (BPO, Change Mgmt, L&D, etc.) 

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent education degree
  • 1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with minimum 3 in an operations function/capacity
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting small to mid size projects
  • General understanding of Client Commercial Organization and its core functional areas: Incentive Comp, Fleet, Client Services, Data Analytics & Reporting, and Learning Solutions
  • Creative problem solver, solutions-oriented mindset; must be curious by nature, with the confidence to ask questions
  • Strong project management skills – PMP or LSS training a plus
  • Experience in process mapping, improvement, and implementation
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing communication skills to train and interact with senior leadership 
  • Strong operational backbone to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a globally connected way, as part of an extended team that is spread across other geographic locations
  • Advanced level of English language
