In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the payer and reimbursement strategy with the goal of ensuring optimal access with specific products. The Reimbursement and Access Lead will lead and manage the activities of the National Account Managers and Field Reimbursement Managers within a regional footprint. The Reimbursement and Accesss Lead will be responsible for leading the team towards the achievement of established client goals, meet National and Regional metrics/service level requirements, and ensuring all goals are met compliantly and in a fiscally responsible manner. You will: 

  • Hire, motivate and coach national accounts and field reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior
  • Lead national accounts and field reimbursement team to ensure that goals are met to support product access within targeted accounts
  • Collaborate with Area Business Leaders to document field performance, manage formal coaching and performance improvement plans proactively 
  • Provide insights, trends, and recommendations on team training gaps

Essential Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience with national or regional payer accounts, reimbursement, patient support experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, payment landscapes and policies  
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a strong ability to align initiatives with national payer accounts and reimbursement/patient support objectives & cross-functional strategic imperatives 
  • Ability to travel and cover large geography territories

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $200,000-$220,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.  Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.  In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
