Business Insights Analyst

In this role, you will support the analytics, insights, and reporting needs for the assigned Deployment Solutions client. As the Business Insights Analyst, you will act as a point person to create analyses that will enhance business insight generation. You will: 

• Consult with Syneos Deployment Solutions team leadership as well as Sales, Brand, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Operational client contacts to understand product performance expectations and translate to analyses and tracking metrics primarily delivered in reports and dashboards
• Work independently to suggest new analyses and reports on activities, trends, and projections regarding performance, efficiencies, and possible improvements
• Communicate insights on targeting, alignments, field team leadership and external strategic partners
• Clearly and succinctly communicate analytical findings and insights to clients and internal team members through visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)

Essential Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, statistics)
• 1+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in commercial operations, market access, medical affairs, or analytics role
• Proficiency in programming languages, e.g. SQL, Python, R
• Experience across business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledgeable in Veeva and Salesforce.com CRM systems

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
