In this role, you will book multi-segment, multi-destination domestic and international itineraries in SABRE. The Travel Consultant will be part of a team of agents while assisting Syneos Health to map out travel arrangements for their employees and programs. This can include booking flights, train, ground transportation to and from the airport, and hotel accommodations. You will: 

  • Subject matter expert within their area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of domestic and international pricing rules, exchange rates and procedures that are required for all travel.
  • Process most cost-effective air, train, car and hotel reservations using various discounts (booking class, client rates/codes).
  • Process exchanges, voids, refunds, schedule changes.

Essential Requirements: 

  • In-Depth knowledge of Syneos Health travel patterns within AOR 
  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience; 8 preferred
  • Knowledge of SABRE and TRAMS software 

Desired Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of meetings and group reservations 
  • Knowledge of International reservations and ticketing

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
