Description

The Integrated Strategy Director is part of the Communications business unit and sits within the Central Strategy team. You will have the opportunity to provide strategic insights, strategy support, and subject matter expertise across different brands within the entire roster of Communications agencies (advertising, PR, branding, medical communications). The Central Strategy is composed of team members that are geographically dispersed and, as such, this role can be based anywhere and will be full-time remote.

JOB SUMMARY

The Integrated Strategy Director is part insight builder, part multi-faceted strategist, part storyteller extraordinaire. Frequently problem solving against some of the toughest business challenges in the industry, this position is responsible for creating the understanding that involves, inspires, and activates change amongst target audiences. Your role will be to cultivate insight into the lived experience of illness today, from the perspective of all key audiences - including physicians, patients, and caregivers as applicable - and ensure they are at the forefront throughout the strategic, creative, and customer experience development processes for our clients’ brands.

With an insatiable curiosity and deep interest in uncovering the behaviors, drivers and motivations of healthcare audiences, this role is hands-on in researching and delivering actionable insights, and then translating them to smart strategies that deliver on Syneos’ Strategic Method, which runs the gamut from brand to content to digital/CX strategy. So, while you don’t need to be an expert in all of those areas, having a working knowledge of each strategic discipline is key.

YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of industry experience with progressive levels of responsibility
  • An excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Agency experience building brands, working on client projects, and working within cross-functional team environments
