You know what needs to be done, and your penchant for strategic delegation and problem-solving makes you a natural fit for this Associate Project Manager position with GSW.

The Associate Project Manager performs day-to-day project management responsibilities across the agency, and execution of client and strategic objectives. They manage multidisciplinary teams to task and oversee the production of agency work across multichannel tactics. Responsibilities include; execution and management of smaller, multichannel projects through the agency development processes, and development and management of budget estimates and timelines for execution. This position may involve secondary client and vendor contact. The Associate PM can expect to be trained and supported in all aspects of project management under the guidance of a Senior PM.  Promotion to Project Manager may follow successful completion of scheduled milestones.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports all facets of Project Management team including but not limited to:

  • Assists and leads tracking of projects through agency from implementation to execution stages
  • With oversight from PM/SPM, estimates costs (fee and oops) associated with creative development/execution of projects
  • Secures outside costs and supervises development though completion for all projects. 
  • Facilitates communication between team members in all phases of project development by ensuring all disciplines are kept abreast of action items, feedback, next steps, client communications/conference reports, project developments/status and direction etc.  Ensures right people are in the right meetings
  • Schedules and assists SPMs/PMs in facilitating internal status meetings and reviews
  • Keeps teams informed of all project status and next steps via daily status documents and planned or ad-hoc meetings
  • Responsible for trafficking jobs through digital routing system to ensure that they stay on task and on time
  • Maintains and archives clean historical record of project workflow
  • Filters requests and assigns to appropriate resources based on defined criteria

  • With oversight from PM/SPM provides timelines for development of multichannel projects including timing for each step of the developmental process.  Balances agency/client needs and consults appropriate team members for input/approvals of proposed timing scenarios. 
  • Supports adherence to project timelines by working with the team to meet milestone dates for project completion by deadline
  • Updates timelines and status documents for agency and client as needed 
  • Performs administrative oversight of projects via planning, financial and digital asset management systems
  • Two days a week onsite in our Santa Monica office required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 1-2 years of relevant industry experience: Advertising or Interactive/Professional Services
  • Previous project management and project planning experience (1-2 years)
  • Computer proficiency required, experience with MS Suite (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and Acrobat Professional
  • Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding communications skills
  • Superior organizational skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
