You are a listener, an educator and a gifted cultivator of new and exciting opportunities grounded in science. 

In this role, you will work within an assigned territory on field-based medical activities, as well as internal activities. You will serve as a medical expert for current and future products on the subject of scientific data and disease state education for stakeholders. You will:

• Collaborate with local experts to discuss disease management and patient pathways
• Serve as a contact point between field-based cross-functional teams and medical affairs team to give insights on scientific/medical issues
• Positively contribute to customer’s principles of scientific expertise, innovative leadership, and patient centricity by providing scientific expertise and effective partnerships to field teams
• Initiate, build, and sustain relationships with external stakeholders and Key Experts 
• Deliver internal and external scientific competitive intelligence and customer insight

Essential Requirements: 

• MD, PhD, PharmD or PhD
• Experience with introducing new specialty pharmaceutical/biologics products or indications
• 2-4 years’ experience as an MSL within the in the pharmaceutical industry preferably in Specialty disease fields

Desired Requirements:   

• Prior pain product experience and/or medical device, specialty pharmaceutical, or biologic product launch product launch 
• Proven understanding of industry trends and market insights including the various unique needs of varied healthcare stakeholders including KEEs (Key External Experts) and payers proven successful ability to interact with KEEs
• 60% travel, including overnights, as needed by the business
