Operations Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the developing and owning the management of tools, processes, and reports to streamline internal operations and drive consistency and efficiency. As Operations Manager, you will support operational initiatives and support select business development needs, special projects, and personal development. You will:

• Work closely with the Associate Director of Operations to drive operational improvements, including owning individual projects and/or sub-projects
• Proactively identify and address operational processes which could benefit from greater efficiency and standardization
• Own tools/dashboards/reports from initial understanding of business requirements to creation and development to testing to ongoing management
• Develop and maintain process maps, how-to guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to team operations
• Partner with internal Syneos Health functions, such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal/Contracting to drive operational initiatives
• Provide ad-hoc support for special projects, including cross-department workstreams, while independently managing deadlines and competing commitments

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-4 years’ relevant experience
• Slide design and story boarding skills
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with PowerBI, Smartsheet, VBA modeling, and additional analytical tools
• Ability to travel as needed (~25%)

Desired Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS)
• Advanced technical proficiency/certifications
• Business analytics experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce
• Experience in operations within a CRO or life sciences service company
• Project management experience/certifications
