You have what it takes: a competitive drive coupled with the exceptional ability to communicate the science behind our customer’s products and build lasting business relationships. 


Develop and implement managed care strategies while building long-term positive and profitable relationships for the company’s lead asset. Work within assigned accounts and cover all market access channels as needed.

  • Development of coverage and reimbursement strategy, securing favorable formulary status and maximizing patient access
  • Optimize the product’s formulary positioning and increase product market share via leadership of collaborative plan pull-through initiatives within field sales, marketing and leadership
  • Develop a wide range of clinical, medical, pharmacy, and executive advocates within influence functions of customer’s business
  • Promote and differentiate the product to key executives and decision makers within assigned strategic accounts

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or life science, MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience within Market Access and 10 years in pharmaceuticals
  • Proven relationships with payers/PBMs, Managed Medicaid including experience with contract strategy, reimbursement and/or managed care sales

Desired Requirements:

  • Strong financial background and analytical skills
  • Launch experience required
  • Remote position, however; candidate must live within 30 miles of an airport and have the ability to travel up to 50%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $190,000 to $197,500.  The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.  Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.  In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
