Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. The Cardiovascular Sales Specialist will be responsible for presenting clinically focused sales messaging that resonates and compels potential and existing customers to take action. You will:

  • Develop strategy and execute tactics within key designated accounts in the Cardiometabolic space
  • Execute branded and non-branded business objectives for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for crafting and maintaining account profiles within designated targets
  • Build and execute integrated account plans based upon customer and market insights
  • Establish relationships and develop rapport with designated account health care professionals and key partners; ultimately facilitating access to key decision makers and assisting in coordinating executive engagements at designated accounts

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with 3 years of relevant Cardiovascular and/or biologic experience
  • Sales experience in rare disease market a plus, along with promoting both specialty pharmacy and buy & bill products
  • 2+ years’ experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals or managed care organizations with a concentration in Cardiology preferred
  • Must live within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel, including overnight, up to 70%
