Responsibilities

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) proactively provides education and support on product access programs for physicians and their staff. They serve as the key contact responsible for reimbursement and access support-related matters for the product in the assigned geography. The FRM will educate and support the integration of the product into physician offices as well as provide support on reimbursement related processes and issues, as needed. Additionally, the FRM will analyze reimbursement and access issues and act as the local access and reimbursement resource for other field sales force personnel and region management. The FRM will need to coordinate cross functionally within Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, and Specialty Pharmacy Account Management. You wil: 

  • Analyze reimbursement issues and opportunities
  • Provide offices product reimbursement expertise
  • Provide reimbursement education to field teams etc.
  • Provide visibility into PHI with appropriate consents
  • Coordinate on reimbursement issues with third parties including HUBs
  • Liaise with Specialty Pharmacy for pharmacy benefit products

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • BS/BA Degree required
  • 5+ years in Commercial Biotech/Pharmaceutical Sales
  • 2+ years field reimbursement experience preferably with specialty products
  • Dermatology experience preferred
  • Proven experience with high cost biologics and in-depth knowledge on issues related to billing, coding, appeals across physician types
  • Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in geographic region
  • Launch experience preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $120,000.  The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.  Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.  In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
