MSL Field Director

Responsibilities

The Field Director will be responsible for management of the MSL team under the parameters and strategy to optimize field responsibilities, scientific knowledge transfer, and performance related to KOL/HCP interactions. The director will also be responsible for providing client with weekly activity reports and other documents, as requested.

Additional Repsonsibilities include:

• Ensure MSL competency, meeting full compliance and professional ethics standards and performance expectations.
• Work with cross-functional partners to support and direct the team on CRM operations, scientific insights, KOL/HCP scientific profiling, KOL/HCP engagement strategy, territory plan of action training, and congress planning.
• Work with cross- functional teams on business planning, special projects, and strategy development to support medical goals and objectives.

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance, and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

• Advanced scientific degree strongly preferred (MD, DO, PharmD, DPT, OTD, NP, PA, or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with at least 3 years in a field-based management
• Experience in team management and developing, tracking, and reporting field medical performance against medical goals and objectives
• Experience with KOL identification and engagement planning as well as field insights analysis and synthesis
• Demonstrated business acumen and a strong ability to align initiatives with medical objectives of our client
