Responsibilities

A seasoned project lead who will lead the team and support the senior account lead and senior strategist across a large scale $1M+ dollar business

Potential priority areas of focus will be on brand communications, disease pipeline or other high profile data announcements surrounding major congresses, initiation of corporate brand communications, planning and execution of multifaceted patient and advocacy engagement campaigns. This will include liaising with clients, brand/review teams, and external thought leaders to help inform brand communications program and positioning, and of course corresponding resource materials (press releases, creative assets, etc.)

Job Requirements

  • 9-13 years of experience in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry (agency experience preferred), and a bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or a related field
  • Strong client relations expertise and familiarity with branded pharmaceutical product and scientific communications is required
  • Experience/interest in vaccines is preferred, but not required; candidate must have interest in scientific and data/regulatory communications and patient work
  • This candidate must have strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning. Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills are critical.
  • An understanding of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations and issues management is beneficial
  • Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, attention to detail and oral communications are required.
  • Willingness to travel (following pandemic restrictions) is required for client meetings and events in this role.
  • Must be energized by being a member of a highly entrepreneurial work environment that rewards and fosters personal initiative and team work

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,600 to $210,900.  The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.  Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.  In addition, some positions MAY include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.

 

Syneos Health has a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy.  We strongly encourage all employees to be fully vaccinated.  Additionally, certain local governments or Syneos Health customers may have vaccine requirements that apply to some of our employees.  These employees are required to submit proof of vaccination to Syneos Health and maintain compliance with these requirements.
