Overview

The Dashboard Developer supports our business goals by developing and implementing dashboards using our technology stack to support the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly perform tasks under supervision.
  • Aid in the front-end design, development, and implementation of internal and client facing dashboards (e.g., Operational, Performance, and/or Analytical (deep dive) dashboards).
  • Work with a team to develop and deliver custom technical analytic solutions (e.g., dashboards, visualizations) to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with designing, creating, and implementing custom visualizations and outputs that communicate complex analytic insights to non-technical audiences within the BI platform amongst others.
  • Assist in the development of detailed functional specifications in support of Power Apps and dashboards.
  • Create and implement security parameters in analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop and implement dashboard workflows (develop, test, deploy) between internal resources and external parties.
  • Work with team to design and develop custom BI models for analytical purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Degree (BS/BA, MS/MA preferred) in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with industry leading tools including BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Mode, Looker, etc.
  • Experience in helping create custom and templated data models for Operational, Performance, and/or BI dashboards/reports.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse tools is strongly preferred.
  • Background in statistics and business intelligence reporting.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI optimization tools a plus (DAX studio, Vertipac analyzer).
  • Familiarity with data ingestion resources and concepts (e.g., API, SFTP, ELT).
