The Nurse Navigator will be responsible for the clinical education initiatives to patients and HCP offices for treatment of Lipodystrophy.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Navigator (NN) will be responsible, telephonically, for the clinical education initiatives developed by Client for the proper use and administration of client products and upon approval, the education of both patients and HCPs on the transition to new formulation and delivery system. The NN will play a key role in the education of patients by providing telephonic support and assist in coordination of available resources to patients. The NN will provide follow up with patients at pre-determined intervals during the therapeutic process.

  • Acts as liaison to various patient resources pre and post injection and throughout the patient’s participation in the NN program. Follow up via telephone/video support to patients undergoing treatment
  • Maintain flexibility to vary assignments whether telephonic or video injection training in order to accelerate disease state awareness for patients and care givers. Educate staff on Nurse Navigator program and resources
  • Integrate compliantly, per business rules, with HUB and Patient Care Coordinators, reimbursement specialists and other matrix partners with the goal of optimizing the patient experience.
  • Master all aspects of the disease state and knowledge of patient resources as it applies to Lipodystrophy.
  • Ability to work within complex technologies with ability to complete/balance several tasks at once maintaining focus and accuracy to provide patient support through the approved, designated call cadence.
  • Provide virtual support to patients newly prescribed product
  • Shift is 1:30-8:00pm EST, 4 days a week

 

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:
  • Active RN license required.
  • Strong consideration given to candidates who have HIV, and hepatology experience
  • Minimum of two years industry experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with virtual or home care experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel for meetings, as required
  • Excellent presentation/organizational and technology skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Above average computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
