Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team that is working in support of patients living with rare disease. This individual would work across biopharma and medical device accounts. This position also allows working from home 2 days a week.

 

 

Responsibilities

About the accounts:

  • The account work spans disease awareness campaign, data communications, competitive readiness, social media, advocacy relations, issues management, and blogger engagement. 

Job Requirements

  • 4+years of agency experience in portfolio, product communications or disease awareness in the biopharma and/or medical device and diagnostics industry to develop and execute PR programs

  • Demonstrated success in leading projects and delivering successful execution on time and on budget

  • A firm understanding of the healthcare communications industry to facilitate the ability to serve as day-to-day counsel for existing clients

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage, support and motivate team members and facilitate positive working relationships with colleagues within the agency and across the network

  • Oversee and lead weekly internal and external status calls, material review meetings and events requiring team attendance (on-site client meetings, media events, medical meetings, media trainings, etc.) 

  • Detail-oriented and eager to ensure account individual assignments and overall account deliverables are executed on time and on budget

  • Mature, responsible individual who is a self-starter and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment/confident in advancing projects

  • Success working with clients that are overextended and need proactive agency support

  • Strong experience working with advocacy groups of all sizes

  • Financial management and tracking oversight is anticipated 

  • Detail oriented, fast paced and ability to multi-task and prioritize projects

  • Ability to see larger picture and ensure projects ladder up to strategy

  • Positive attitude during times of high workload, multiple deliverables

  • Leadership skills to motivate team at all levels

  • Interpersonal skills to establish a strong rapport with clients, internal colleagues across the organization
