The Freelance Account Executive is an entry level position/promotion opportunity from Account Coordinator. Like the AC, the employee should continue to develop a deeper understanding of the advertising agency and pharmaceutical industry, but also focus on gaining a better understanding of marketing principles, communications, and the agency philosophies regarding brand development. This is also the role where increased accountability for project management and client interaction begins to be realized.


• Potential to serve as the primary client (APM, PM) contact and manage execution of various projects
• Participate in supportive capacity during weekly client meetings

• Orient new jobs, participate in convergence brief and project brief execution, secure assigned estimates, track job status and facilitate team status meetings
• Participate in supportive capacity during weekly team meetings
• Write or review conference reports and coordinate client meetings
• Manages the billing process and tracks accounts receivables
• Participate in routing, to ensure the client's goals are met
• Identifies tactical opportunities that are consistent with the strategic objectives
• Provide tactical execution and support to team and client on a day-to-day basis
• Develop therapeutic area knowledge and stay current with client’s product, market, and industry

• Manage and facilitate Agency process implementation
• Partner with:
• Creative to ensure consistent and complete information transfer and participate in brainstorming and solution development
• Creative Services to develop and assemble chronologies, job status reports, revised estimates, resource allocations, etc.
• Media Planning to develop advertising for print and broadcast media

Job Requirements


• Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of working experience in advertising agency/project management


• Proven track record of project management capability
• Motivated self-starter
• Works well in team environments
• Good attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
