Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Selling Solutions team, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to provide better, smarter, faster solutions for the industry. Take part in leading the transformation of healthcare by joining the largest provider of outsourced commercial solutions to the healthcare industry. 

The Global Director, Recruiting Operations for the Commercial Division will be responsible for  the design, strategy, building, and execution of the programmatic and analytical pieces of the  recruitment function within Syneos Health Commercial division. This will include analytics and  reporting, process design, tools, and platforms including the PeopleFluent ATS and CRM tools  and system reporting. The role has a global scope to support recruitment leaders and  operations and drive business in several regions while ensuring a centralized but regionalized  recruiting operations support model. Ensure clear inventory and vision for use of recruitment tools and platform strategy as well as excellence in execution of recruitment solutions with clients. Future programs may include diversity and inclusion, recruiting branding, and training initiatives. The recruiting directors and business leadership will be the main clients. In addition, this role will also work collaboratively with the Recruiting Teams, HR Team, Legal Team, Finance Team, and National Project Team along with hiring manager stakeholders in support of Global Commercial business units.

Strategy & Client Account Management:

Develop a strategic project roadmap for recruiting projects based on a deep understanding of the current state of affairs and the medium and long term vision for Recruiting and Syneos Health Commercial as a whole Serve as a key strategic advisor to VP Global Recruiting as a member of the Recruiting Leadership Team Advise internal and external clients on recruitment strategies to include timelines and selection process design

 

Analytics:

Design and build reporting dashboards for consumption by executive leadership and our recruiting directors, globally as well as client and partners across the people, finance, strategy, and legal teams

 

Tools:

Evaluate our technical tools and capabilities and drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working, including vendor selection and implementation

 

Recruitment Channels & Resources:

Develop plan to solve our channels gaps (especially Referrals and Outbound Sourcing) and recruit, hire, develop the people needed to execute on those initiatives

 

Candidate Experience & Assessment Centers:

Lead a team of recruiting operations professionals which include Assessment center design, management, and execution

 

Process Development:

Play a key role in developing, documenting, and communicating best practice process related to systems, technology, and recruitment tools

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:  

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition, staffing, or recruitment experience
  • 3+ years of recruiting leadership experience
  • Global recruitment experience building and centralizing recruitment operations
  • Experience in Staffing Agency, RPO or related Staffing Industry role highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skill set with a significant ability to lead a team of recruitment operations team members in Analytics and Reporting, Candidate Experience and Assessment Centers, Account Management and Process as well as Systems and Technology
  • Ability to hire, develop and motivate, and provide vision
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and experience partnering with senior leadership and clients on recruiting strategy and hiring initiatives
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes
  • Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize effectively
