This opportunity is withSyneos Health Consulting, an industry-leading consulting firm specializing in the biopharmaceutical industry providing services across a comprehensive range of key Practice Areas including commercial strategy and planning, medical affairs, risk and program management and pricing and market access. You'll join a team with industry focus, depth of functional expertise, and strong scientific and market knowledge that is uniquely positioned to tackle highly complex business and market challenges to develop achievable strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Copy Editor/Proofreader for our Pricing and Market Access team. The Copy Editor/Proofreader will train onsite for the first 1 - 2 (4 days per week) and then have the opportunity to work remotely (coming into the office occasionally for meetings).
  • Will provide editorial support for the development of various project documents, communications, and deliverables in a high-throughput team environment.

  • The Copy Editor will be responsible for proofreading responsibilities.

  • Will fact-check against publically available material.

  • Majority of work will be done in PowerPoint, some work done in Acrobat PDF and Word (i.e. promotional materials)

  • Maintain the integrity, clarity, and accuracy of documents by ensuring the content and format of documents meets expected standards. Will perform rigorous quality control of client deliverables.

  • Test document flow and logic and flag potential issues to the appropriate project team member in a time-sensitive manner. Also, will assist to construct the story and ensure good structure flow and language choice.
Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have 2 - 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Excellent PowerPoint ability and Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail is imperative
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills
  • Can take direction but also work independently
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
